Picture Framing

Within our mount style and colour option you can choose whether you would like a mount or not. A mount helps keep your artwork/photograph away from the glass but also offers your artwork/photograph print the correct presentation to achieve a high standard of framing. 

No Mount: If you decide to choose no mount we recommend that you choose the 1.5mm spacer that is available within our accessories drop down menu, the spacer creates an air gap between your artwork / photograph from the glazing. 

Single Mount:  We recommend that you try and pick a colour to either compliment your home interior or choose a colour from your artwork / photograph, this will help compliment the colours within your picture. As your artwork grows in size so should your mount, for example a 10×8” print would have a 30-40mm mount, a 20×16” print would have a 40-60mm mount and a 24×20” print would have a 50-80mm mount. 

Double Mount: Choose a second mount that will be your bottom mount, we recommend you choose a colour that will compliment a colour from your artwork / photograph, the usual width of your bottom mount is around 5-15mm depending on how much you would like to see.
