S1 Framing Measuring Guide

I’m ordering just a frame

Step 1: You will need a pen, paper, calculator, tape measure and the item you’re framing.

Step 2: Take the item you are framing and lay it on a flat surface.

Step 3: Measure both the height (top to bottom) and width (left to right) of the item you’re framing and write down the dimensions in mm.

Step 4: If possible ask a friend/family member or colleague to re-measure, double checking you have the correct sizes.

Step 5: Simply input the exact sizes you have written.

Step 5: We will deduct 8mm from the overall height and width; providing you with an overlap allowing you to stick the picture in place.

Step 6: Choose the size of your mount (border around your item). We will apply an automatic size depending on what size you input, as the item grows in size, so does the mount.

Converting measurements

Below is a guide on how to convert from cm and inches to mm.

cm to mm multiply (x) by 10

So, 10cm is equal to 100mm

Inches to mm multiply (x) by 25.4

So, 10 inches is equal to 254mm
